Reading Program

In the spring of 2005 the Pine River Football program began a program where a select group of students would read in the morning to elementary students. We hoped the program would help reinforce the importance of reading, establish the importance of the high school students as role models for the districts younger students, and promote participation in athletics, especially in football. The elementary teachers and students, as well as the and high school students, have found the program to be a valuable experience.
